Katherine Nolan is a video and performance artist, currently completing a practice-led PhD entitled Seducing the Machine: Narcissism and Performance in Contemporary Feminist Practice. Her work is concerned with spectacle, provoking acts of looking and being looked at through live performance. Intervening in the constant stream of images of desire that demand consumption, her practice seeks to perform the process of becoming an image.
